Bored of the Strings: Return of the Muffin

Yes, Private First Class General Muffin of Spiffiness is back! Wow, so much to talk about!
I'll start off with the new game Aaro bought, I borrow is from him on a regular basis, hehe. Battlefield 2 is definitely an enjoyable game, rivaled by only the legendary Half Life series. (at least in my opinion) Perhaps Benjamin will want to kick some terrorist bum with Aaro and I in Co-op. :D
Anyway, what else have I been doing? ...Going to school, Yay! My teachers have been mean this month. Fortunately I think they're getting lazy now that this is the last few days before the break. I've mostly been watching movies, eating foods, and making glittery gift tags! (still have glitter stuck on my face, hehe) How fun!
Oh and SueBenEmmaBecca are coming tomorrow from the land of the cactus. I'm sure Emma will have a fun time playing in the snow.... If she doesn't get too cold. Brrrrr! Anyway, I think I'll need Susans help with my Christmas shopping. Boys are always so hard to shop for! All they ever want is food and golf stuff... or in Aaros case, giant C++ manuals. :P
On Saturday we had our Ward Christmas party. The food was great thanks to our friendly something-Grill (dadooo help me out here, I don't remember the name) staff on hand. (it's always good to have connections)They made an excellent broccoli salad. You wouldn't think Broccoli salad would be good, but these guys pulled it off! There was also a surplus turkey and ham cooked to perfection, along with 200-something big dinner rolls. Good stuff. :)

The demise of the Muffin

So I guess I'll start with my own terrible demise, at the corrupt hands of the Chairman. So today I entered the State following the proper code of conduct to the letter. I sat down and looked over an underground newspaper on my desk. (it must have been smuggled in before school had started) The Chairman walked in with the usual fanfare. He then proceeded with yelling at us about how these newspapers will not be tolerated, it's a disgrace to the State, whoever did it will be punished, blah, bla, blah... Then three former party members stood up and accused me of the crime! I defended myself the best I could and gathered witnesses to my side but it was no use. So the state police forced me out of the room. (they were about a foot taller than me so there was little that could be done to resist) So via gas chamber, firing squad, watching Baptists at our barbecue 5 times in a row, being tossed into a pit of rabid socks, and other horrors I was executed. So now since I'm "dead" none of my classmates are allowed to acknowledge my existence. So it's off the the media center with me. Oh well, according to my sources Chairman will soon follow in the footsteps of the dictators before him.

Speaking of things dying, my confuser was slaughtered by an evil virus (It's the boys' fault, they're the ones who invited it in for milk and cookies! >_<) So after many hours Dadoo slew the beast at the cost of my data. Now I'm working on replacing all that was lost... meh...

Well, TTFN!

so bored....

Right now I'm really bored but have very little to talk about. Just to warn you, I may ramble a little just so I have something to do.

So what have I been up to? School has pretty much revolved around the Chairman (and the State) all week. Bring gifts to the chairman, salute my superiors, chat with #23 and #31 about how great chairman is, turned in #23 for disrespecting the chairman, running from the education officer, ect... It's been fun yet very stressful, I always have to be on my toes. Especially in the State, yesterday I angered the Chairman by making my paper to "individual", and the day before I forgot to salute him. Needless to say, I don't think he's too happy with little #36 (that's me!) right now.

Hmmm what else... Oh so I've started playing Oblivion again. I think I'm getting closer to finishing it. This thing is massive! :D

School has certainly kept me busy recently. Midterms has brought a flood of projects, tests, and busy work. Fortunately not all school work is bad (gasp! did I just type that?!) In psycology we have been working in groups to create our or experiments. My groups hypothosis is: teens will say "uuumm", "like", or "so yeah" whenever confronted with an awkward situation. After much research among our student body we found our results inconclusive. Apparently it's harder to make people feel uncomfortable than we thought. (Are subjects turned out to be too friendly, cheerful, and outgoing! What's wrong with these people!?)
Second is the Totalitarian simulation in my American Problems class that starts next week. I'm not quite sure what we're going to be doing, but I'm sure the Chairman will direct us in the right path...Chariman is so awesome, kind, omnipotent, and spiffy. Hail Chairman! I am currently working on memorizing the Seven Principles, so I can be in the party. The closer I can be to the great, powerful, and wise Chairman the better!

...anyway... Have a spiffy day!

Yay Chairman!

Muffin and the battle of the Sniffles

This week has truly been the best of times and the worst of times. I got to spend time with Susan and Emma, (as well as the rest of my spiffy family) ate yummy "chicken bones", and read the new Artemis Fowl book. Sadly, all is not well in Muffinland. I have been afflicted with a terrible curse known as what I like to call The Super Sniffles (aka a nasty cold). I missed a whole 2 1/8 days of school this week. But I will persevere, and go learn tomorrow sniffles, or no sniffles!

Hhmmm so what else can I share today? (other than evil germs)

well, I certainly have many games/movies on my hype list nearing their release dates. Actually, they are close to making my internal hype-O-meter explode with joy!

Sarah's hype list!

1. Eragon movie on December 15th! (No trailer yet… Fox is certainly cutting it close. Grrr)

2. previous post :D

3. Half Life 2: Episode 2
Action-packed goodness, with lots of shiny physics (Ooooo collapsing bridge, creepy Gman smirking at you, and really big bugs, oh my!)

4. Siderman 3 ( I would post a trailer but everyone has already seen it) ;)

5. PS3, yay!
PS3 running a re-mastered version of an old classic!... or at least the intro of it :-/
(Whooo no block-hands and stiff pointy hair!)

6. Ikea (yay lingonberries... and home delivery!)
